Caregiver Requirements

  • Proof of clearance (background check or Live Scan results)
  • Home Care Aide (HCA) number
  • State-required training: 5 hours of entry-level training and 5 hours of annual training
  • Valid government-issued ID or driver’s license
  • Valid SSN or ITIN (ITIN for business use only)
  • Current CPR/AED certification (valid for 2 years)
  • TB test or chest X-ray results (valid for 2 years)
  • Flu shot and COVID-19 vaccination (valid for 2 years)
